"My daughter began her martial arts experience a few years ago at King Tiger Academy and has now progressed to 2nd Dan black belt. We didn't have to push her to stick with her studies because she always looked forward to her classes. It's been great to have her become dedicated to Tae Kwon Do because of the many lessons she's learned about honoring her commitments and being physically and mentally disciplined. She's also benefitted from making so many friends at KTA. Those relationships really help her want to go to class.
I began my martial arts training back in the mid-1980s then retired in the mid-90s. I've now joined KTA in order to reignite my training and I'm happy I did. It's had an extremely positive impact on my physical conditioning and my general outlook. I also love being able to pursue martial arts with my daughter, it's become a valued family activity. We look forward to testing together in May for the next level black belt.
This is the best martial arts school I've ever visited for the training of children and young adults.Â

"King Tiger is an incredible environment. Fun, motivational, energetic, and talented are words that describes the instructors. I learned to focus, improved my balance, & strength overall, but most importantly, in areas of my body where I was previously weak. Working towards a goal and improving your self physically, spiritually and mentally are all part of this incredible place."

"Coming to King Tiger has given me, and my son, something to work towards. Being 50 years old is easier because I keep my brain active by learning the new forms, and it helps me stay in good physical shape by attending class. Having Master Evins as my Sa Bum Nim, gives me a someone who will always be for my success in Tae Kwon Do, and my personal life! Having you and the other instructors, I know that I am assured of your support in my training. And all of this encourages my own (and my son's) success! ...Thanks so much."

"Training at King Tiger has been awesome for our family since we all take class together. For my husband and I, we are in better shape physically than we were in college! And the continuous emphasis on integrity, perserverence, and respect has really helped mold the "moral fiber" of our kids. Our kids' teachers have recognized improved focus and concentration in the classroom. The instructors are great role models and we are very thankful to have King Tiger as part of our lives."

"We first came to Tae Kwon Do through our oldest daughter, Ariana, age 9. She was looking for something that she could call her own. She had done gymnastics, soccer and dance, none of which was a good "fit" for her. She started classes at King Tiger and immediately loved it. Ari had developed a pattern of starting many things and not sticking with it. Tae Kwon Do has taught her the value of commitment.
While watching Ari's class, our youngest, Nikki, learned Kwon Sool. She was soon doing it at home and asking to start classes. Now we had two enrolled. As Mom watched from the sidelines, she began to think "why should they have all the fun?" Now we have three enrolled.
Our family has always valued fitness, discipline, self-esteem and having a sense of accomplishment. We have found all of this at King Tiger. Perhaps the greatest benefit is coming together as a family to achieve these goals. We have a common bond based on the things we value as a family. Many nights we will be grilling outside and someone will yell "Poom Saes on the back deck!" We all go outside and practice TOGETHER. Sometimes it is just us and sometimes other friends from King Tiger join us. With all the outside commitments that come up in a busy family, it is so easy to be going in too many different directions. Tae Kwon Do is giving us a common direction which is invaluable."

"I am very blessed to be apart of something so great as King Tiger TKD. I never thought in a million years that a girl like myself could be taking TKD and absolutely love it. King Tiger is such a kid friendly place and a wonderful environment for families. The instructors do everything in their power to make sure we feel comfortable and it can be a home away from home. When I began my journey at TKD which was not too long ago I knew immediately this was a place I wanted to be. What really made me want to start TKD was watching the kids take class. Seeing their confidence and how Master Evins pushed them to be their absolute best at all times made me want to try it out. Knowing that I needed to work on my self-esteem and confidence I knew this was what I needed and it came just at the right time. I am up to 3 times a week and if I could take it everyday I would. The other Adults are so friendly and helpful in making sure you feel welcome. Instructor Moser took time out of his day to help me with my Poom sae and it meant a lot to me. Instructor Knight has been helpful with making sure I understand my study guide and if I am confused with anything. Its the little things that really count sometime. Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of King Tiger it has and will continue to change my life for the better."

"Self-confidence, perseverance and integrity are important virtues we wanted our three kids to have. Training in Tae Kwon Do at King Tiger has given them the tools to learn and practice these virtues plus so much more ... a fun place to be physically active and make new friends. As a family of five that train in Tae Kwon Do, it has given us a common activity that we all share and can practice together. We work hard together at learning and practicing our forms, kicks and study guides, but always make room for some fun coming up with our own poomsaes. As heard around the dojang, the family that kicks together sticks together... not only do we live by this motto at home, but at the dojang as well, since we feel we belong to one huge family at King Tiger."

"I started taking TaeKwonDo with Master Evins at King Tiger in July of 2003. Since then, TKD has absolutely changed my life for the better. I am now in much better shape, physically and mentally. I now have much more confidence in myself, self defense skills, and also helping out fellow students. I love the friendly atmosphere at King Tiger and also the level of respect everyone shows is outstanding. Master Evins is the owner of King Tiger and also an incredibly wonderful instructor. He is constantly pushing me to better myself in all aspects of life. He has given me great opportunities to expand my knowledge of martial arts and have so much fun doing it at the same time! It never gets old leaving the mats sweaty and seeing a huge smile on the faces of all the students. I am absolutely certain that this is my home, and I whole-heartedly believe that King Tiger is the best school around to train at. The worst mistake I could ever make in life would be to stop training."
