Ultimate Black Belt

Terrance Evins, master instructor and owner of King Tiger Academy. Evins recently received an Ultimate Black Belt, which involved two years of martial arts courses, sparring, running and community work.

AAU TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS!

It is very exciting to have our competition team that competed at South and North Caroline AAU Taekwondo Championships and National qualifier at Southern Wesleyan University, SC past weekend. All the team members practice extremely hard and shown strong spirit and encouragement at the contest. KTA and RST athletes are worked together and coached by Master Cann at the event.

Here is a quick overview of exciting results:

• First time competitor Abby Auerbach won the silver medal at sparring and finished the 5th place on Poomse.
• James Chapman won the gold medal at Poomse competition and finished the Olympic Sparring with silver medal.
• Joseph Quisol, , won the gold medal at Poomse competition and finished the Olympic Sparring with silver medal.
• Thao Vang representing KTA adult division and won the 2nd place at Poomse competition and finished the Olympic Sparring with silver medal.
• Anthony Li won his gold medal in sparring. Anthony also won the gold medal at Poomse competition.
